We had originally booked our wedding for 9.4.21 however, the COVID lockdown had other ideas. After the first lockdown in 2020, we decided we needed to postpone our wedding. Anouska and the staff at Roundthorn helped us navigate through this difficult time and booked us a new date- 2.4.22 without any fuss or complications.
We had a lot of family travelling to us, so location wise, this was perfect! We were lucky enough to secure exclusive use and the the use of the apartments too – which were spotless and luxurious!
The day itself was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. We have a lot of allergens in the family and the staff worked tirelessly to ensure everyone was catered for. The food was fantastic and we had our day exactly how we wanted. All our ideas were listened to during meetings and they were so accommodating- even with some of our more ‘unique’ ideas!
Everyone had an amazing time and we couldn’t have asked for more. People still talk about what an amazing time they had and the atmosphere for the whole day.
It was so lovely to be able to celebrate with our friends and family after along 2 years of lockdowns and uncertainty and it felt like everyone at Roundthorn were celebrating this too! We will never forget our day at Roundthorn and it will always hold a special place in our heart.
