“From the moment Darren and I first came to visit Roundthorn, we knew it was the perfect venue for us. Not only is it a beautiful venue inside and out but the surrounding views are just breath-taking. The attention to detail, organisation and professionalism was outstanding from the very first meeting we had with Anouska, all the way through to packing up the day after the wedding. From start to finish, it was clear we had chosen a great team to help us with our big day. All the team at Roundthorn are without a doubt the most friendly, approachable and helpful people we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Nothing was too much to ask and everyone was always more than happy to answer questions and offer advice and support if we needed it. The team were utterly fabulous. Every part of the day was better than we could have ever dreamed of. Anouska and the team talked us through every step and kept us updated with what was going on (which for me was very much appreciated).
The food was delicious, we had so many amazing comments from our guests about the wedding breakfast and buffet. We couldn’t fault it and to have the opportunity to do a menu tasting beforehand was such a great idea. I have to say, trialing that beef dinner only made me more excited to have it again on the day and the cheesecake was out of this world!
The rooms both in the hotel itself and the apartments, oh my goodness, they are amazing! Again, we had so many positive comments from our guests about how great the rooms were, it was a perfect place for them to stay. It was a great set up for myself in the apartment, which really made the whole getting ready process so special.
We couldn’t recommend the team and venue highly enough and we are so so grateful to have found Roundthorn. We had the most perfect and beautiful wedding here beyond anything we could have imagined.”
